Christine Lombard (aka C. Love) has served as a certified elementary educator for more than 18 years. She is the creator of “Rainbow Writing Workshop,” the signature Response to Reading model and curriculum for elementary students.
Christine’s passion and vision for education began during her first internship on the South side of Chicago over twenty-five years ago, when she first awakened to the understanding that education is so much more than what takes place within classrooms and school buildings. It was during her community service experience that she marveled while watching urban youth leave their city for the first time to experience the wonders of camping. It was also the time when her heart first broke through sharing in the tragedy and grief of a family and community, who lost a young man to gang violence. Finally, this was also the time when her eyes were opened to the injustice and inequality in education most clearly revealed through the academic achievement gap between low-income minority students and their peers.
Christine received a BA of Elementary Education at Trinity Christian College and Master of Science in Leadership (MSL) at Belhaven University. She is currently an EdD of Educational Leadership student at Liberty University. She serves as a Writing Instructional Coach in Orlando, Florida.
Christine’s passion is to ignite student engagement and inspire students through innovative arts-based curriculum, instruction and solutions. The vision of C. Love Education Solutions is revolutionizing education one heart and one life at a time, with a primary emphasis on social justice through education and increasing the academic achievement of all students.
